We invite you to the seventh and final session of the 2026 lecture series organized by World Monuments Fund (WMF) Peru in collaboration with proyectoamil.
On this occasion, Dr. Elías Mujica Barreda, prominent archaeologist and anthropologist, will present a lecture on the Huacas del Sol y de la Luna, one of the major political and religious centers of Moche society (1st–9th centuries AD).
Since the 1990s, its management, research, and conservation—under the approach of “excavating to display and share”—transformed this archaeological complex into one of the country’s most significant sites.
