Join us for the second session of the lecture series organized by World Monuments Fund Peru, in collaboration with proyectamil.
In this session, José Canziani, Senior Professor of Architecture at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, will explore how architecture and landscape come together along Peru’s pre-Hispanic coast—raising a simple yet intriguing question: What is architecture doing there?
Starting from this question, José Canziani will explore the why and how behind architectural placement in the territory, looking at how these structures act as devices that shape the landscape and give it new meaning.
