TALLER

Eliana Otta

Wednesday 14 March
7:30pm – 9pm

Proyecto AMIL
Lima

How much effort do we invest in standing still? Why do our daily activities demand that we detach ourselves from the ground? The ground is only for the defeated, for resting or for recharging forces for the next quotidian battles. What if the ground is the best place to reflect on those battles? What if only after sharing the same ground, at the same time, we can discover other ways to talk about what comes after getting up?

This workshop was originally conceived by the artist for Dysfunctional Organ, the public program organized by the Capacete residents in Athens (November, 2017), as part of a collective exploration on how to relate the body, the space and political concerns.
