Jim Marcelo Santiago (JIMBO) – born in Cerro de Pasco – studied at the Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de Bellas Artes del Perú, where he specialized in printmaking. JIMBO has worked for over twelve years in the fields of urban art and illustration, participating in both solo and group gallery exhibitions.
He also collaborates with other artists on independent projects that aim to expand access to art in high-risk areas. His ongoing curiosity about the city of Lima reveals a need to create surreal characters charged with a strong underground sensibility.
