Proyecto AMIL is pleased to announce its first international institutional collaboration: Protocinema at Proyecto AMIL, a public program composed of a series of events and professional dialogues which aim to introduce Protocinema’s work to the audience in Lima.
Founded in 2011 by Mari Spirito, Protocinema has consistently operated across borders and boundaries in the international art community, connecting artists, curators, and writers through exhibitions and educational programs in Istanbul, New York and elsewhere. Despite the geographical distance, Protocinema and Proyecto AMIL share the same goals: they are both mission driven art institutions in which their publics can engage with critical content.
Protocinema at Proyecto AMIL is an inter-institutional collaboration organized as an experiment in public knowledge-sharing, reflecting on current political scenarios and showcasing new contemporary art works.
