During her residency at Proyecto AMIL, at the beginning of this year, Esther Kläs started working with Moyra Silva Rodriguez and Stefania Merea Massignan. At first there was only the thought of a trace that is made and changed by the bodies in space. All of it in relation and in movement. This led to Action – Meeting, a communication experiment that will go public in the context of ola / wave, Kläs’ exhibition at Proyecto AMIL.

About the artists
Esther Kläs (Mainz, 1981) lives and works in Barcelona, Spain. Recent exhibitions include: Whatness, Kunsthalle Bielefeld, Germany (2015); Girare Con Te, Marino Marini Museum, Florence, Italy (2014); Esther Kläs: Better Energy, MoMA PS1, NY (2012). Her work has also been included in a number of group exhibitions; such as: Drawing Redefined, de Cordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Lincoln, MA (2015); Playing by Heart, KOLUMBA, Cologne, Germany (2014), KölnSkulptur #7, Stiftung Skulpturenpark Cologne, Germany and the 6th Prague Biennale (2013).
Moyra Silva Rodriguez (Lima, 1983) has a Bachelor in Performing Arts and Contemporary Dance and Movement at the PUCP. She has worked in several theater and dance projects in Lima under the direction of Alberto Ísola, Nishme Sumar, Jorge Villanueva, Mirella Carbone, among others. She has also participated in international festivals, such as: Tanz im August (Berlin, Germany, 2012); Festival Itinerante de Teatro Latinoamericano (San José de Costa Rica, Salvador de Bahía, Lima, 2015); II Encuentro Latinoamericano de Investigadores sobre el Cuerpo y Corporalidades en las Culturas (Bogotá, 2015); and Laboratorio: esferas de creación en danza (Lima, Buenos Aires, Recife, 2008). Her personal research has materialized in independent and self-organized projects as part of the group Panparamayo teatro (2010-2015); the solo project Reflejo Animal (2010-2015); and CorpusMedio in collaboration with the composer Adele Fournet (2012-ongoing)
Stefania Merea Massignan (Lima, 1985) is a Peruvian artist based in Lima. Between 2004 and 2011 she studied visual arts and dance in Lima, Barcelona and Buenos Aires. She has participated in various exhibitions and interdisciplinary projects, both individually and collectively. Currently she is in the process of creating a new show. She directs merea julian, a graphic design studio.
