In its fifth edition, the independent art fair, La Carnicería goes virtual, adapting to the times we are living. Lots of fresh meat in the various proposals of the more than 40 emerging artists that will participate in this edition. This time the online fair will take place at lacarnicería.org and will have the following sections:
The home page or Mother Door [Puerta madre] offers an immersive 360 experience where you can visit the workshops and rooms of a selection of artists.
The Fresh Meat [Carne fresca] exhibition takes you into a virtual world created in 3D.
The Butchers Talk section includes interviews, presentations and virtual parties.
In the On-Line Shop [Tienda virtual] you can buy works, merch and much more …
In addition to a grand opening event with DJ sets and visuals, via Zoom.
La Carnicería is consolidated as one of the most important platforms for the alternative art scene in Lima. At the same time, the fair reaffirms its commitment to generating a sustainable artistic ecosystem, promoting the work of young creators, and allowing the public to buy art at affordable prices.
Under the organization of María Abaddon, La Carniceríais an art fair that transits between transgression and the politically incorrect. After four editions, the project has established itself as a platform for emerging artists, making their work visible and positioning it in the art circuit.
