In its fourth edition, the independent art fair -La Carnicería- returns to Proyecto AMIL to bring together more than 30 emerging national and international artists and collectives that have no commercial representation and that challenge traditional formats.
Under the organization of artists Maria Abaddon and Rodrigo Gómez Olivos, this edition of the fair has been conceived as a total art festival, hosting artworks in various formats, videos, installations, performances, a fanzine fair, tattoos, music and conversations. A stage both for artistic experimentation and community building.
In 2019,La Carnicería establishes itself as one of the most important platforms for Lima’s alternative art scene. At the same time, the fair reaffirms its commitment to generate a more sustainable artistic ecosystem, promoting the work of young creators and allowing the public to buy art at affordable prices.
