We invite you to the closing event of Haptic Constellations, an exhibition by sound artist Rogelio Sosa, which has been featured in our space since May 9. Join us on Thursday, August 29, at 7:30pm for a special performance. The activation of the pieces Mosaic and Cordal will include live contributions from Fe Baca, Juan Diego Capurro, Anna Cuadra, Valeria Robbiano, and Rogelio Sosa himself.
Haptic Constellations explores how touch can translate into sound. Moving beyond traditional graphic musical notation, Rogelio Sosa delves into a unique form of haptic notation, examining how objects (or living energies) interact with the most extensive organ we have: our skin.
This exhibition is more than just a playful diversion or a quest for novelty. It represents a bold, anti-hegemonic stance in an era dominated by the visual and retinal, offering a fresh perspective on the sensory experience.
We look forward to seeing you there!
